Welcome to our website!

At First United Baptist Church we strive to create God’s Kingdom on earth by creating an atmosphere where people of all races, backgrounds and ages are welcomed and embraced. We are an urban ministry that understands and attempts to meet the needs of people in an urban environment.

Although we were drastically affected by Hurricane Katrina, we are dedicated to ministry in New Orleans, and trust God to replenish our congregation and provide the resources to repair His building.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. -- Romans 8:1-2
